Joey the Aussie Cattle Dog, cute as a baby kangaroo just like his name says! Joey wandered onto his owners' property at just 4 months old, skinny, wet and shivering cold. They took him in, took him to the vet, and got him all fixed up. For the first year of his life he was able to run loose on the property, but then he started running a little too far from home and too close to the highway. His people got a few bids for fences, bids like $4,000, so now Joey is in a kennel. Joey's people love him very much, he gets lots and lots of treats, in fact he could stand to loose a few pounds, which will probably happen when he starts tearing around in his lovely new fenced yard! And here is a bonus for us volunteers, (like we need anything more than to watch Joey zoom around his very own yard!) the property is RIGHT on Willapa Bay so we will have an incredible view as we work. Post setting at 10 with quick dry cement, then lunch, then the build. Come at 10 or 12, whichever works for you!
