I can honestly say, this is one of the most unusual builds at Fences For Fido.

One of our Client's requested a fence back in February, but by the time the Outreach was able to make contact her dog got off his chain and went after some neighbor kids.  No one was hurt, but the client knew to keep her dog safe she needed to re-home him.  it broke her heart but now she wants a new dog desperately so FFF has decided to help out with a fence so she can get a new companion that will have a safe environment to live in.  Please help us help this Client.

For post settings and fence builds, you will receive your "Thanks for Volunteering" email after you click to attend. This will have the email address for the coordinator for this event.

We so appreciate your dedication and commitment to Fences For Fido. You are the very heart of our organization, therefore, our primary concern is your safety and wellbeing. For that reason, Fences For Fido will only build panel fences during this time and for the foreseeable future. Panel fences allow for 6 feet of distance between volunteers and the number of volunteers can also be significantly reduced. Further, it reduces the number of time volunteers will be gathered together on site.

We are also changing the way in which we operate on fence build day. Please read the following so that you are fully aware of expectations and requirements prior to and on fence build day.

On Site Safety Guidelines:

  • Bring with you and wear a face mask and gloves as you will be required to wear both for the duration you’re on site. (Eye protection is recommended)
  • Maintain 6' social distance at all times.
  • We will have on site: disinfectant wipes, hand soap and sanitizer, and paper towels

Prior to Your Arrival:

  • If you have been in contact with any known COVID-19 patients, we ask that you complete the 14 day quarantine before joining a build.
  • If you feel sick or have any symptoms of the virus, we ask that you not attend a build. Please take your temperature before coming to a build to check for fever.
  • If you have an elevated temperature, please stay home.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has background information about the virus, steps to prevent illness, and what to do when sick.
