| Showing Up Where the Need Is — Fence Build for Princess in Warm Springs | ||||
| ||||
Meet Princess, a 7-month-old puppy living on the Warm Springs Reservation. Princess’s family loves her, but like many families in rural and tribal communities, they have limited access to basic pet resources. Right now, Princess doesn’t have a properly fitting collar, so her family has to make real-world, daily decisions between tethering her unsafely or letting her roam. Both situations put her at risk. On Saturday, January 24th, at 10 am, we will be in Warm Springs to build Princess a secure fence and shelter, giving Princess safe freedom and her family peace of mind. If you’re open to stretching your idea of a volunteer day, we’d love to have you join us. No prior fence-building experience is required. Tools, guidance, and community provided. Just bring your heart, hands & willingness to help. Many of our builds take place in rural areas because that’s where need is greatest. When you volunteer, you’re not just building a fence. You’re helping bridge gaps in access to pet resources, supporting families who love their dogs, and showing up where love meets need. | ||||
