| Pendleton: Double Fences, Double Love! | ||||
| ||||
Join us for a rare opportunity to build the gift of safety and comfort for two loving families and their dogs living on busy streets. First, we will meet Great Pyranise Sniffa and her Heeler-mix friend Jack, two energetic escape-artists who have been frequent visitors to PAWS in Pendleton, as they sometimes get out and find themselves in a scary situation along busy highway 11. To bring peace of mind to their family, and safety to these two dogs, we will meet on Saturday, January 31st at 9:30 to start our first build of the day. After the first pair of dogs are unchained, safely roaming in their new fence, we will make a quick refreshment stop, and then caravan to build our second fence for a good boy named Pancho, who lives about 30 minutes away. His home is also along highway 11, where he must be chained for protection from the busy road. If you're looking to make a big difference, we would love to have you. No prior building experiece or tools are needed; just bring your big heart and maybe a friend. When you volunteer, you give more than your time and a fence to dogs, you're helping make your community safer and helping to bring and love and resources to where families need it the most. | ||||
