Sober is an 11 year old extremely friendly pit bull. Sober & family live on the edge of town near the Trask Mountains. His family describes Sober as someone who is a tremendous ambassador for pit bulls because he loves everyone, including cats, and even the neighbors. So much so, it’s not uncommon for people driving or walking by to stop in to say hello to him. That’s right: we’re building for a bit of a celebrity in the neighborhood. It’s a little like the Mr. Roger’s song, “Who are the people in your neighborhood.” In this case … it’s Sober. He is tethered 12 – 16 hours a day but thankfully at night he sleeps inside with his family which is important since over the years there are more coyotes and reports of missing outdoor cats.
