LOVE TRAVELS FAR: Volunteers Needed in Nyssa, Oregon. We’re driving over 5 hours to Nyssa to build two safe fenced enclosures for nine dogs who live outside in small enclosures or on tethers. Their family cares deeply for them, but they lack access to affordable vet care and basic pet resources. While the family would love to rehome these nine dogs outside, we have networked, and for this bunch, all large, some bully breeds that have had little socialization, there are few good options for them. Shelters and rescues are at capacity, and so while we continue to network, the family can keep them together, with a bit of help from Fences For Fido and friends! We’ve already helped spay/neuter 14 dogs and provided them with monthly supplemental pet food. Now, we need your hands and heart to build fences and dog houses that will give these pups a safe place to call home.
