Anything related to the dogs
Sometimes when our volunteers check on a chained dog, a fence is not an option or the family realizes that a fence wasn't the right solution for their Fido; so they surrender them to Fences For Fido for re-homing.
Fences For Fido is not a shelter or a rescue group, so we cannot take in dogs unless their family meets our fence build qualifications and the situation is dire (health, eviction, low standard of care). We then look for shelter/rescue group placement, foster homes, or adopters for these wonderful dogs who deserve to know the happiness of being an indoor dog and a real part of a family.
If you are interested in fostering, adopting or connecting us with other organizations, please email us at FidosInNeed@fencesforfido.org.

Max and Ace are 2 beautiful labs who need the safety of a fenced yard...they are chained 24/7 due to living on a busy street corner and having a problem neighbor who has threatened physical harm to the boys. Please help us keep these boys safe and happy...a great Xmas gift.
I AM THOR!
I live in Bend and I really need a fence. I am eagerly awaiting all of you new volunteers to come experience the joy of my freedom. Many Pittie kisses to you all. THOR
PS Don't forget your hammers.
Timex the wiener dog and Bebe the lab mix are two sweet pups who need a safe place to play. Bebe has gotten quite the reputation for roaming the neighborhood and helping herself to some fresh chicken dinners. The family built her a small kennel but it was just too short and small for such a great escape artist as Bebe. Regretfully, the family has resorted to chaining her to keep her out of trouble. Please come out on this holiday weekend and give these pups something to be truly thankful for - their freedom!

Rocky is a well-loved Australian shepherd mix, but life hasn't always been easy for him. He's been moved around quite a bit but thankfully has finally found a safe and loving home.
Ethyl Flower is a sweet one year old pittie who lives outside in a small kennel because she's just a bit too rowdy in the house. You can't see it in the photo but she has some of the most adorable, expressive ears I've ever seen. When we let this sweet gal out of her kennel into her very own FFF yard you can bet there will be lots of running and fun!
