Lila and her son, Dutch, used to run loose in the neighborhood with the wrong crowd.  Rather than taking a chance on a bad ending, their person decided to confine them to home but, alas, it is in a small, crowded area which is quickly becoming unsafe for them.  FFF to the rescue for these two as they get a nice, big fenced area to freely, but safely, run together once again!

SPECIAL COVID-19 GUIDELINES

We so appreciate your dedication and commitment to Fences For Fido. You are the very heart of our organization, therefore, our primary concern is your safety and wellbeing. For that reason, Fences For Fido will only build panel fences during this time and for the foreseeable future. Panel fences allow for 6 feet of distance between volunteers and the number of volunteers can also be significantly reduced. Further, it reduces the number of time volunteers will be gathered together on site.

We are also changing the way in which we operate on fence build day. Please read the following so that you are fully aware of expectations and requirements prior to and on fence build day.

On Site Safety Guidelines:

  • Bring with you and wear a face mask and gloves as you will be required to wear both for the duration you’re on site. (Eye protection is recommended)
  • Maintain 6' social distance at all times.
  • We will have on site: disinfectant wipes, hand soap and sanitizer, and paper towels

Prior to Your Arrival:

  • If you have been in contact with any known COVID-19 patients, we ask that you complete the 14 day quarantine before joining a build.
  • If you feel sick or have any symptoms of the virus, we ask that you not attend a build. Please take your temperature before coming to a build to check for fever.
  • If you have an elevated temperature, please stay home.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has background information about the virus, steps to prevent illness, and what to do when sick.
